Zoom F3 Field Recorder

The Zoom F3 records in 32-bit float with dual A/D converters and the low-noise preamps from Zoom's professional F-Series, capturing everything from quiet raindrops to loud explosions at up to 192 kHz without setting gain or worrying about clipping. Its two locking XLR inputs and sturdy metal casing suit film sets, location sound and fieldwork. Durable side bars, a standard tripod mount and slide-resistant rubber feet let you mount the F3 on your rig or hide it in a scene. Real-time waveforms on the display help you monitor recordings, with a headphone output for listening and a line output to feed your camera. Two AA batteries give over eight hours of recording, and the optional AD-17 adapter provides unlimited power.
