HK Audio LINEAR 5 MKII 308 LTA Active Line Array Speaker

The HK Audio LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA is a compact, high-output active speaker designed for large venues and open spaces. It bridges the gap between traditional point-source PA systems and line arrays, offering scalable sound coverage. This speaker delivers minimal treble drop-off while reaching up to 40 meters and covering up to 3,000 people. Therefore, it’s ideal for both indoor and outdoor events. Equipped with a 1-inch HF driver and Multicell Transformer (MCT), the speaker provides clear, powerful sound across a wide frequency range. The Class D bi-amped amplifier delivers 600W RMS and 1,200W peak power. This ensures rich bass and midrange frequencies. Additionally, three vertically arranged 8-inch horn-loaded woofers produce a balanced sound. It suits various configurations, including single, cluster, or headstack setups. The unit offers flexible tuning presets for optimal sound coverage in different arrangements. Moreover, the speaker easily integrates with other equipment through PowerCon connectors and a PowerCon Link for simplified wiring. It also features a network port for remote DSP adjustments via Ethernet. This system includes full parametric EQ and other DSP features, allowing precise sound customization. Built with durable birch multiplex housing and rigging points, it’s designed to endure the demands of live sound events and touring.
