Allen & Heath Qu-7

The Allen & Heath Qu-7 is the largest frame in the new Qu range, taking the familiar Qu-32 form factor and adding a 96kHz XCVI FPGA core with under 0.7ms of latency. It mixes 38 inputs (32 mono/linkable and three stereo) to 12 mixes, four matrix outputs and the main LR. With 32 XLR/jack combi mic/line inputs, a talkback input, 20 XLR outputs and 33 motorized 100mm faders, every local input has its own fader, while four customizable layers, eight SoftKeys and a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen keep larger shows fast to navigate. The Qu-7 suits live sound, houses of worship, theatre and studio sessions, with six multi-FX engines and dedicated stereo returns, a Gain Assistant, a Feedback Assistant and a 32-channel automatic mic mixer. It is also ready for optional DEEP Processing add-ons from dLive. A 32x32 USB-C audio interface handles DAW recording and playback, the SD card slot records up to 32 tracks at 48kHz, and USB-A covers stereo recording. The 128x128 SLink port connects Everything I/O expanders, including existing dSnake units, and free apps provide remote control.
