Allen & Heath Qu-6D

The Allen & Heath Qu-6D combines the mid-sized Qu-6 surface with built-in Dante networking. Its 96kHz XCVI FPGA core delivers under 0.7ms of latency and mixes 38 inputs (32 mono/linkable and three stereo) to 12 mixes, four matrix outputs and the main LR. Locally it provides 24 XLR/jack combi mic/line inputs plus a talkback input, 16 XLR outputs and an AES3 output, with 25 motorized 100mm faders across four customizable layers, a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and per-channel displays with chromatic metering, suiting live venues, houses of worship and commercial installations. The Qu-6D adds a 16x16 Dante interface running at 48kHz or 96kHz on its own locking EtherCON port, with no expansion card needed for Dante-based systems. It also keeps the 128x128 SLink port for Everything I/O expanders, including existing 48kHz dSnake units, as well as a 32x32 USB-C audio interface and SD card multitrack recording for studio and live capture. Gain and Feedback Assistants, six multi-FX engines and a 32-channel automatic mic mixer come as standard, and the mixer is ready for optional DEEP Processing add-ons.
