Allen & Heath Qu-5D

The Allen & Heath Qu-5D brings the next-generation Qu platform to the most compact frame in the range, adding a built-in 16x16 Dante interface at 48kHz or 96kHz on a dedicated locking EtherCON port, with an optional 32x32 Dante upgrade available. Built around a 96kHz XCVI core, it mixes 38 inputs (32 mono/linkable channels and three stereo) to 12 mixes, four matrix outputs and the main LR. The surface offers 16 XLR/jack combi inputs plus a dedicated talkback input, two stereo line inputs, 12 XLR outputs, two TRS outputs and an AES3 output, with 17 motorized 100mm faders across four customizable layers, eight SoftKeys, a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and a channel display with chromatic metering on every strip. It can be rack-mounted with an optional 19-inch kit.

Six multi-FX engines with dedicated stereo returns sit alongside a Gain Assistant, Feedback Assistant and 32-channel automatic mic mixer, making the Qu-5D a natural fit for networked live sound, install, houses of worship, conference and broadcast work. It is DEEP Processing ready for optional add-ons from the dLive range. For recording, a 32x32 USB-C audio interface connects to your DAW, the SD card slot records and plays back up to 32x32 channels at 48kHz or 16x16 at 96kHz, USB-A handles stereo recording and playback, and the 128x128 SLink port connects Allen & Heath Everything I/O expanders.
