Allen & Heath Qu-5

The Allen & Heath Qu-5 brings the next-generation Qu platform to the most compact frame in the range, which can be rack-mounted with an optional 19-inch kit. Built around a 96kHz XCVI FPGA core with under 0.7ms of latency, it mixes 38 inputs (32 mono/linkable channels and three stereo) to 12 mixes, four matrix outputs and the main LR. The surface offers 16 XLR/jack combi inputs plus a dedicated talkback input, 12 XLR outputs, 17 motorized 100mm faders across four customizable layers, a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and a channel display with chromatic metering on every strip. Six multi-FX engines with dedicated stereo returns sit alongside a Gain Assistant, Feedback Assistant and 32-channel automatic mic mixer, making the Qu-5 a quick, dependable choice for live sound, houses of worship and conference rooms. It is DEEP Processing ready for optional add-ons from the dLive range. For studio and recording work, a 32x32 USB-C audio interface connects to your DAW, the SD card slot captures up to 32 tracks at 48kHz, and the 128x128 SLink port connects Allen & Heath Everything I/O expanders, including existing dSnake units.
