Agera Acoustics HE-81 8-inch Passive Installation Speaker

The Agera Acoustics HE-81 is a passive full-range speaker from Agera's High Energy Series, a range developed over 15 months for installations that need higher output, extended response and clarity. It pairs an 8-inch low/mid driver with a 65 mm voice coil and neodymium magnet with a 1.75-inch high-frequency unit with a 44 mm coil, crossing over at 2 kHz. Frequency response is 75 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), sensitivity is 93 dB and maximum SPL is 121 dB, with power handling of 150W continuous and 600W peak. The 80 x 80 degree dispersion gives even coverage for distributed systems. As part of the High Energy Series, the HE-81 is built for clarity, durability and long-term reliability in fixed installations. Phoenix connectors provide secure installation wiring, and both a wall mount bracket and a U-bracket are included for positioning. The 16-ohm impedance allows efficient system design in distributed setups with several speakers. The enclosure measures 29 x 27 x 25 cm and weighs about 8 kg.
